Sherry M Kennedy

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Sherry M. Kennedy, 66, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kennedy was born September 19, 1946 in Beckley, WV and passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Jimmie McMillion and Doris Castleberry Talbot. Mrs. Kennedy was a loving mother and wife and enjoyed spending time with the family. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Don Kennedy; daughters, Leigh (Matt) Montague of Huntsville, AL, Jenny (Davis) Baxley of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Dylan, Kalee and Maddie Montague; sisters, Barbara Whorf of Raleigh, NC, Geneva Saunders of WV; brother, Randy McMillion of Bristol, VA and step mother, Bertha McMillion of Beckley, WV.
