COLUMBIA – A Celebration of Life for Stefanie Martin, 18, will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Sandhills Community Church. The family will receive friends at the Church following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel is assisting the family.
Born in Chemnitz, Germany, she was a daughter of Steffen and Jana Martin.
Stefanie passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and enjoyed cross country and track. She was studying environmental engineering at Clemson University. Stefanie had an outgoing and fun personality and infected everyone with her smile and sense of humor. She loved to travel and to socialize with her many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Sebastian Martin of Columbia; paternal grandmother, Brigitte Martin and Maternal grandparents, Elisabeth and Gunter Meyer.
