NEWBERRY - Stephen J. Coleman, 65, of Utica, New York passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel is assisting the family. Born in San Mateo, CA he was a son of Robert W. Coleman and the late Evelyn Ulrich Coleman. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, his son; Stephen J. Coleman, Jr., daughter; Tricia Service and her husband Mark; grandchildren Alexandria, Thomas and Nicholas; step-mother; Ethel R. Summer Colman; brother Kim Coleman and wife Sharon; sister; Debra Thomaselli; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a brother, Craig Coleman. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Davis of Palmetto Health Richland and the friends and family for their support and kindness.
