Susan was born on December 28, 1959 in Columbia, SC and was a daughter of the late James Edward Drose and Violet Gruber Drose. She was a loving and devoted mother, nana, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Devore of Lexington, SC and Rebecca Jeffers (Ronnie) of Gaston, SC; six grandchildren, Ryan Terrell, Serenity Devore, Maria Vargas, David Vargas, Chloe Jeffers and Abigail Jeffers; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Terrell; her ex-husband, Jody Devore; and one brother, Jimmy Drose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Cashwell.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC, 29170.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the MICU staff at Lexington Medical Center for the passionate care they provided. They would also like to say thank you to their loving family and friends who have supported them during this difficult time.
