Agnes Hodge Ellerbee

A Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will occur at 11:00 am. The family will have a Private Burial.

Agnes was born on August 27, 1938, in Hamilton, Georgia to the late Minnie and James Hodge. She will be remembered as a simple, loving mother and wife. Agnes was married to her devoted husband, Bruce Ellerbee, for over 40 years who went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2025. She dedicated part of her life being a secretary in her church and loved serving the Lord. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and was loved by everyone that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Ellerbee Sr. She is survived by her children, Patrick Poole (Jennifer Cochran) and Bruce Ellerbee Jr.; her nephews, Sam Nickerson, Wayne Hodge, David Hodge, Rett Hodge, Randy Hodge, and Butch Broome; her nieces, Pam Watson, Kim Nickerson, Heather Broome, Millie Ellerbee, Ellie Ellerbee; and her brother-in-law, Wayne Ellerbee.
