Andrew Scott Edmonds

Columbus, Georgia- Andrew Scott Edmonds, age 7, died on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his home in Columbus. A memorial service is scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Columbus, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 4:00pm, with Reverend Jeremy Rands officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6-8pm.

Andrew Edmonds, son of Donald Scott Edmonds and Katie Leigh Culbreath, was born March 29, 2007 in Columbus, Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with all his family. Andrew loved his video games, playing with his friends, watching football (specifically the Broncos and LSU), and visiting the beach often. He was active in soccer, motorcross and baseball. In his seven years here with us, he lived a very full life and made an impact on many people. Andrew was able to travel to see extended family and experience many football games. He was an honor student from Reese Road Leadership Academy and was very loved by his teachers and classmates.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Susan P. Culbreath. He is survived by his parents; sister, Adison Clary; grandparents, Anne and Tommy Snider, William P. Culbreath (Pauline), Don Edmonds; great grandmothers, Inez Story, Nellie Edmonds; aunts, Leila Williams (Steve), Amy Snider; uncles, William T. Culbreath (Beth); great aunt, Marie Massey (Steve); close cousins, Sydney and Brittney Williams; and many other loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Reese Road Leadership Academy Fund.
