Angel O. Santiago

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, GA. A reception will follow after the service in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA.

Rosary followed by a visitation will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 5-7 pm, in the St. Elmo room of Striffler-Hamby.

Mr. Santiago was born on April 3, 1927 to the late Arturo Santiago and Adelina Ortiz Santiago. In addition to his parents Mr. Santiago was preceded in death by his wife Julia Melendez Santiago, and a granddaughter, Michelle Collier. Mr. Santiago served his country in the United States Army, a veteran of the Korean War and Viet Nam.

Survivors include three sons: Angel L. Santiago, Alfredo Santiago, and Arnaldo Santiago, three daughters: Awilda Guadalupe, Gladys Collier, and Milagros Lumia, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
