Annetta Doris Jakopic Boutwell, 60, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on April 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 17, 1963 in Germany to Mirko Jakopic and Meta Kuehlwein. She grew up in Columbus and moved away for a bit before settling back in Columbus. Annetta loved her family and enjoyed cooking and entertaining at her home in which she took great pride in making all welcome. She enjoyed working in her yard maintaining her flowers and shrubs. When Annetta wasn’t cooking or working in her yard she loved to go fishing, trips to the beach, watching NASCAR races, or loving on her fur babies. Annetta will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, but her presence her with us will be greatly missed.
She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her children: Michael Sullivan (Joan), Alisha Ann Sullivan, Ryan Olen Sullivan (Amanda), Alex Hernandez, and Jessica Heather Jakopic; her brother, William Mirko Jakopic; her sisters: Diana Carmen Hernandez, Patricia Marie Robbins (Paul) and Adrienne Rose LeComte (Bret); and numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the St. Elmo room at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Family and friends will go into Parkhill Cemetery by procession for a graveside service at 2:00 PM.
