Anthony Joseph Marano

Anthony Joseph Marano Jr., 70, resident of Columbus, died on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, at 11:00am with Reverend Mike Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Marano, son of the late Anthony Joseph Marano Sr. and Ernestine Devincentis Marano, was born February 11, 1946 in Passaic, New Jersey. He was a Painter and Owner of Tony Marano Painting Company until he retired in 2006. Mr. Marano was an attendee of Second Baptist Church. He was a very simple man, a quiet, spirited person who worked hard to provide for his family. He adored his children and grandchildren; they meant the world to him.

Mr. Marano was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Monica Marano; daughter, Dawn Marano; and son-in-law, Richard Mobley Sr.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Joseph Marano III, Allison Mobley, Robert Marano (Kristi); grandchildren, Jeffrey Mobley (Mckinsi), Amy Marano, Richard Mobley Jr., Will Marano, Zachary Marano, Cameron Marano, Meri Claire Marano, Makenna Marano; great granddaughter, Autumn Mobley; and many other relatives and friends.
