A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM (EST) at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 in Edgewood Hall. Family will accept visitors for viewing one hour prior at 2:00PM (EST)

Barbara was born on August 4, 1955, in Eufaula, Alabama to Charles and Anna Mae Williams. She enjoyed spending her time scrapbooking, dancing and gardening. A family woman, she enjoyed spending time with her family and taking beach trips. She loved her fur babies, Gizmo, Oscar, and JoJo. She was an Alabama fan and loved to yell Roll Tide!

She is survived by her children, Christina Marie Fisher (Alan), Angela Michelle Byrd (Kevin), Amy Lynn Smith, and Richard Ruth Jr. (Chris); her grandchildren, Katelyn Mae Sanders (Kody), Tiffany Leanne Kimbro (Sammy), Tyler Scott Smith, and Tori Ann Smith; her great grandchildren, Karson James Sanders and Kameron Austin Sanders; and her sister, Peggy Williams Wheeler (Bill). She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Robert Williams and Anna Mae Williams; her brother, Ronnie Odell Williams; and her son in law, Michael Scott Smith.
