Bessie L. Smith, 92, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday February25, 2012 at her residence.
Burial for Mrs. Smith will be held at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Center Point, GA on Wednesday.
Mrs. Smith was born on November 15, 1918 in Center Point, GA. She had worked in the shipping department for Sears for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband, L.D. Smith, her daughter, Betty Ann Holt and her husband John, 2 grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Holt and John Scott Holt, her very close neighbors and friend, Dot Williams and Faye Massey.
