Graveside funeral services for Bobby will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Patricia Burns officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
Bobby was born September 29, 1936 in Columbus, GA. to the late Hulet L. Barron and Sarah V. Deason Barron. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus and he was the owner/operator of Lake Oliver Marina.
Bobby was a member of St. Peter United Methodist Church. He served 10 years in the National Guard and was a Mason. Bobby was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Lynne Barron Doan.
Surviors include his wife, Betty J. Barron of Columbus, GA, daughter, Lisa Sellers (Chris) of Cataula, GA,
grandchildren, Alexis Doane, Joshua Sellers (Yvonne) and Aaron Sellers all of Columbus, GA
