Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Sunday, March 13, 2016 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Duke was born on September 19, 1941 in Centerville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents: Carlos Carthell Colburn and Jettie Pearl Colburn,a daughter: Shari Gail Chapmon, a brother: Jesse Colburn, and two sisters: Dorothy Joyce Riley and Deborah Joyce Gann.
Survivors include her son: Daniel Garner, Ms. Duke’s companion: Guy Burnham, his daughter’s Janell and Melinda, and his son Guy. Three brothers: Rodney, Eddie, and Eugene Colburn, one sister: Betty Jean Smith, grandchildren: Brendon Garner, Michel, Mario, Bobby, Lil Guy, and Aubree.
