Connie Mae Knox

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. GA. with Reverend Phil Youngblood officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

Connie was born in Columbus, GA. on March 15, 1936 to the late George Everett McMullen and Mable Clair Lewis McMullen. She was a 1954 graduate of Baker High School. Connie was employed by Columbus Store Equipment Company as a bookkeeper and retired with 32 years of service. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Rowland and Betty Hudson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Charles R. Knox of Jonesboro, GA. niece, Mickey Tuggle of Sharpesburg, GA. and a nephew, Gordon Rowland of Columbus, GA. Also left to miss her dearly are lifelong friends, Ralph David and Marty Tilley and her caregiver, Vicky Batten.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Dr. McDonough, GA. 30253 in memory of Connie.
