Curtis Allen “Billy” Brady, Jr., age 86, resident of Columbus, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Memorial services are scheduled at River of Life Church, Phenix City, Alabama, on Thursday, February 9, 2017, 3 p.m. with Reverend Randy Comer officiating.
Mr. Brady, son of the late Curtis Allen Brady, Sr. and Anna Lucille Blanton Brady, was born July 2, 1930 in Columbus. He was retired from Tom’s Foods where he faithfully worked for over 35 years. Mr. Brady served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Brady; seven children, Cristi Boyd, Steven (Becky) Brady, Susie (Bill) Holmes, Mark (Vangel) Spencer, Rita (Phil) Renfroe, Candace Spencer, and Brenda (David) Trice; nine grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Spencer, Travis and Brianna Boyd, Chelsea (Joe) Williams, Andy Spencer, Joshua (Darrell) Spencer, Rachel Spencer, Jacob Taylor, and Megan Doner; two great-grandchildren, Abigail Spencer and Kamerin Spencer; many other relatives and friends.
