

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Bryant’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 15, 2013 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907 with Chaplain Dan McMinn officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryant was born July 24, 1942 in Americus, GA, daughter of the late Maurice and Elizabeth Westbrook Williams. She worked for the Columbus Regional Medical Center and retired as a Registered Nurse after 20 years of service. She also worked as a Registered Nurse for Columbus Hospice. Mrs. Bryant was blessed with a giving and caring spirit that was felt by everyone who knew her. We will miss her presence daily, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Bryant.
Survivors include her two daughters, Dawn Braswell and her husband, Fred, and Angie Coleman and her husband, Tim; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Matthews, Bryant Matthews, Barbara Braswell, Tracy Braswell, Jon Braswell, Mandy Pesamoska and her husband, Mike, Hannah Coleman, and Tanner Coleman; three great grandchildren, Jason Simpson, Courtney Pesamoska, and Taylor Pesamoska; one sister, Maurine Porter; one sister-in-law, Betty Bryant; five nieces and nephews, Kim Turnbull and her husband, Ken, Jim Bryant, Dell King and her husband, Charlie, Bea Miller and her husband, Buddy, and Casey Porter; numerous great nieces, nephews, and friends.
