Cynthia O'Hare Jordan

The eldest daughter of Joe and Ivora O'Hare, Cindy was born March 8, 1953 in Columbus, Georgia. Cindy graduated from Tullahoma High School in 1971.

She was married to the late Perry Jordan, and they lived together in Pensacola, Florida. Cindy is survived by her parents and three children: Robert Lee of Hampton, Virginia; Elizabeth Cromartie of Smithfield, Virginia and Samuel Jordan of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren and was predeceased by her loving husband in 2018.

Cindy was a beautiful singer, performing throughout her life in church and at family gatherings. She passed her appreciation of music to all her children and grandchildren. She was always the first to fill a room with laughter and never missed an opportunity to share with others. Cindy was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind a multitude of beautiful memories. Even as her health declined, she often repeated Proverbs 25:11 "a word fitly spoke is like apples of gold in pictures of silver".

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
