Mr. Campbell, son of the late Page Samuel Campbell and Marguerite Clark Campbell, was born in WaKeeney, Kansas. He retired from the Navy in 1970 as a Senior Chief Aviation Electronics Technician with 22 years of service. He served on aircraft carriers around the world and was in the Pacific during the Vietnam War. He moved to Columbus, GA in 1992 and married Linah Hutto in 2001. He sold and distributed the Geni jump start products, was a locksmith and rode motorcycles. He was a member of Striplin Terrace United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School class, STARS, Lifeline Prison Ministry, and Methodist Men.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linah Hutto Campbell, and brothers, Delbert Campbell and Craig Campbell. He is survived by his sister, Nira Campbell Jones (Gary) of Mission Texas; sisters-in law, Doris Campbell of Pueblo West, Colorado, and Lois Campbell of Overland Park,
Kansas; and nieces and nephews.
