Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 in Parkhill Cemetery

with Reverend Tommy Henschel and Reverend Eddie Smith officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary,

Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Debra was born in Pulaski, TN on October 19, 1952 to the late Robert F. Smith and Emma Richardson Smith.

She was a life long area resident and was Baptist by faith. She retired from the Muscogee County School District

where she worked as a Secretary/Bookkeeper for many years.

Survivors include her siblings, Bobby G. Smith (Connie) of Talbot County, GA. James A. Smith (Patricia) of Waverly Hall, GA. and

Cynthia S. Norsworthy (John) of Phenix City, AL. three nieces, Ceselie A. Russell (Thomas), Abbie L. Smith, and Andrea J. Smith,

three nephews, John C. Norsworthy, Joshua A. Norsworthy and James R. Norsworthy, four great nieces, Julia G. Russell, Alaina F. Russell,

Olivia H. Russell and Amelia J. Russell, her special friends, Paula and William Frazier, Patricia Thomas and Gladys P. Wesling,

numerous aunts and uncles and her beloved dog, Bella.
