Diane was a sweet, smiling person who always hoped for your best. She struggled throughout her life with medical issues and so appreciated the help and warmth of all her friends. She had companionship from many four legged friends, most recently Princess the cat.
Growing up in New York City, Diane was proud of her heritage and her accent. She was a New Yorker through and through. However, Diane was most proud of her son Danny, his family and his achievements. She was so grateful to God for Danny and so grateful to Danny for his love, patience and support over the years.
Diane loved to dance and to sing. In her younger years, Diane took dancing lessons learning the Tango! While she lived here in Columbus Georgia, Diane was a fixture in the St Anne Catholic Church choir for the 5:30 Mass. So often during Mass she would feel the Spirit of God come upon her encouraging her to sing with joy and enthusiasm. She wanted to share the love of God through her favorite songs, Be Not Afraid and On Eagles Wings.
Diane is survived by her son Daniel Nacca (Courtney), her brother Sal Tricamo (Marylou) and her niece Michelle Lazar (Chad). She greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great niece. Diane leaves behind many dear friends who cherish their memories of her happiest days.
A Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 10, 2026 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church, 2000 Kay Circle, Columbus GA. The Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Internment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, 13109 SR-85, Waverly Hall GA.
