Donna Sweger Klepper, 56, of Ellerslie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. Funeral Services are scheduled on Monday, October 30, 2017, 4:00pm, in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Dr. Kevin Calhoun officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby. A private burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Klepper, daughter of Patricia Sweger and the late Art Sweger Jr., was born December 16, 1960 in Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1979 and continued her education at Troy University, receiving her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and specializing in Elementary Education. Mrs. Klepper was currently a second grade teacher at Pine Ridge Elementary in Ellerslie, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Art Sweger Jr.; husband, Henry Klepper; and niece, Betsy Anne Dean.
Mrs. Klepper is survived by her beloved son, Brandon Klepper; mother, Patricia Sweger; sister, Kathy Dean (Tommy); brother, Bruce Sweger (Heidi); aunts, Hazel Sweger, Barbara Newton (Allan); niece, Molly Dean; nephew, Jackson Dean; and great niece, Raegan Dean.
