A memorial service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Eason was born on January 16, 1911 to the late William and Florence Sharp in Portland, ME. She was a loving homemaker for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Harmon H. Eason, a sister, Ruth Miller and an aunt Eleanor Sharp.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Dr. John Vatral of Columbus; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward S. and Donna M. Butler of Columbus; six grandchildren, John W. Vatral of Columbus, Christopher M. Vatral of Columbus, Nancy V. Haas of Birmingham, AL, Susan Vatral of Columbus, Eileen Mae Smith of Tennessee and Edward S.
