Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby in the Mill Room with visitation being from 1:00 PM until time of the service.
Dorothy L. Masciovecchio was born on April 11, 1929 in Social Circle, Georgia to the late Viola Cash Haralson and George Haralson. She was a loving wife to Emilio Masciovecchio for 55 years and a loving mother to her four children. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and painting. She was an artist later in life, after taking a few classes for painting she was teased by her family about purchasing her paintings. After the passing of her beloved Emilio, she lost her passion for painting.
Survivors include her daughter, Joan M. Bell and her husband Fred; sons, Guido Masciovecchio and his wife Diannne, Emilio Masciovecchio and his wife Eliane, and Gary Masciovecchio and his wife Beverly; sisters, Sara Haralson and Joyce Franklin; brother, C.L. Haralson; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 greatgreat-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
