Dwight Loren Johnson

Dwight Loren Johnson, age 69, of Pine Mountain, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022. Dwight was born on March 19, 1953 to Dale and Evelyn Johnson. Reared in Kensington, Minnesota, he eventually relocated with his family to Georgia. He was the proud founder of the Once Upon a Child store in Columbus, Georgia. Dwight loved to spend his time kayaking the rivers and lakes of Georgia, grilling in the backyard, debating politics, walking, and playing games with his family. Dwight was preceded in death by his father Dale Johnson and his brother Randy Johnson. Dwight is survived by his wife Joan Johnson, daughters Hillary Johnson and Lauren Bartelme, sons-in-law Chris McGee and John Bartelme, and four adoring grandchildren (Amelia – 11, Eleanor – 9, Everett – 6, Heidi – 2), his mother Evelyn Johnson, and brothers Jerry and Tony Johnson. Memorial services will be held on June 27 at 11 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
