Eather Marie Prophitt August 28th,2010 COLUMBUS, GA— Eather Marie Prophitt, lovingly known as "Marie" passed away suddenly, Saturday, August 28th,2010, at the Monongahela Valley Hospital, located in Monogahela, PA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. 31907. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Heflin Prophitt. Survivors include her four children: Joe Burnham and wife Carlene, of Phenix City, AL. James Burnham, and wife, Nellree, of Republic, PA, Mike Niles, and wife, Linda, of Phenix City, AL. Janice Mace, and Husband, Reid, of Inman, SC. 10 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew's. She is also survived by a step-son, Jerry Hick's and family, of, Columbus, Ga. a sister, Willow Dean Watson, of Graceville FL. Two Brother's, Dallas Brannon, and wife Betty, of Fort Walton, FL.
