Edna Lewis Pritchett, age 80, of Lantana, FL, formerly of Loganville, GA, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:30pm Wednesday, March 28th at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA with Graveside services officiated by Don Burdett to follow at 3:00 PM in Park Hill Cemetery.
Edna was born July 26, 1931 in Columbus, GA and grew up in Harris County, Georgia. Edna will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex B. Pritchett and a sister Dorothy Hunt.
She is survived by four daughters and their spouses Kay and Vince Murphy of Atlanta, GA, Betty and Harry Knuckey of Cumming, GA, Pamela and Tommy Burke of Lantana, FL, Sharon & Scott Bellamy of Clearwater, FL; a son William L. "Bill" Pritchett and fiancé Julia Boyum of Conyers, GA, a sister Sybil Allen of Lagrange, GA, two brother-in-laws Tommy Pritchett of Lilburn, GA, Edward Pritchett, Harold Pritchett and wife Barbara, all of Columbus, GA, twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
