A visitation for family and friends for Eloise will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A burial to follow after chapel service will occur at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Eloise was born on April 26,1930 in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late LB Capan Sr. and Ethel Corine Whittle Capan. She worked for Tom’s Food’s for 42 years.
Eloise put her faith in Christ and was a strong, loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend to all who knew her. She loved going to church, reading her Bible and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents LB and Ethel Capan, brother, Junior Capan, sisters, Imogene Leathers and Ethleyn Joyner.
Eloise is survived by her sister, Sheral Marshall, daughters, Joni Johns and Karen Bullock, grandchildren, Megan Johns and Amanda Moore Porfirio, great-grandchildren Forrest Moore and Kately Moore.
