COLUMBUS, GA- Erie Sue Buck was born in Columbus, Georgia to John & Susie Mae Bloodworth.
She attended Wynnton School, Columbus High School, and Mary Washington College. She subsequently worked several years for the Girl Scouts in what is now called the "Little House". Erie Sue was married to William Calmese Buck from November 30th, 1956 until his death on May 7th, 2015.
Erie Sue is survived by her two sons, William Calmese Buck, Jr. (Louann Clements Buck) and John Bloodworth Buck; two grandchildren, Victoria Whitley Buck and William Calmes Buck III; her sister Beverly Presley (Delma Eugene Presley); sister-in-law Jane Buck; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Erie Sue enjoyed a lifelong friendship with Mary Alice Humes.
Services will be held on Monday, August 8th with interment at 10:00 a.m. in Riverdale Cemetery and an 11:00 a.m. memorial service and celebration of life at First Baptist Church. Visitation and a reception will follow the service in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
