Esther P. Hendricks

Esther P. Hendricks, 88, of Columbus, died on Thursday, October 27, 2016 peacefully at home. A Graveside Service is scheduled on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11:00am in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Shane Smith officiating.

Mrs. Hendricks was born June 30, 1928 in Bellwood, AL but lived most of her life in Columbus. She was the daughter of John Paul and Comilue White Paul Rheney.

Mrs. Hendricks was retired from Sturkie Insurance Agency after 47 years of service. She was a former member of The Insurance Women of Columbus, Credit Women’s Breakfast Club, Volunteer with the Auxiliary at Doctor’s Hospital and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hendricks was a member at Gentian Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.H. (Bill) Hendricks and her two sisters, Johnnie P. Hedden and Betty P. Rayburn.

Survivors include her two daugthers and their husbands, Paula H. Bush (Tommy), Deborah H. Lavoie (Dick); step-daughter, Judy H. Gilbert (David); grandchildren, Lee Cason (Luci), Robyn H. Cason, Jason Lavoie; step-grandchildren, Patti G. McLaughlin (Tim), Carla G. McDonald (Robert), Marcia Lavoie, Greg Lavoie (Ann), great grandchildren, Colby, Kyle, and Kaylee Lavoie; niece, Barbara H. Enfinger; and nephew, Victor Coppins; and several wonderful nieces, nephews and many good friends.
