Springs, Alabama. She was a twin and the last known
sibling of sixteen children born to Donie Henderson and
Henry Johnson. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at
an early age and was a faithful servant of the Lord and
member of Cusseta Road Church of Christ until her health
declined. Eva was a domestic worker and nanny for several
prominent families in the local community.
Eva was called to eternal rest on July 3, 2016 at the
Columbus Hospice. She will truly be missed by all who knew
her. She was preceeded in death by ther husband the late Fred
Moore; three sons Charlie Fred Moore, Reverend Michael
"Ekiee" Moore and Garrett "K-Lou" Moore Sr. To cherish her
memories she leaves behind three sons; Willie Moore (Estella),
Delong Moore, and Danny Moore (Joan); two daughters,
Patricia A. Taylor (Howard), Thelma J. West (late CSM (R)
Terry L. West), Columbus, GA; one daughter-in-law, Debra
Moore, Atlanta, GA; and a host of beloved grandchildren,
great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; great
nieces; nephews; great nephews and friend.
