Evelyn Bryan

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Michael Lott officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Bryan was born in Columbus, GA. on January 24, 1943 to the late Tup Rushing and Jessie Lee Campbell Rushing. She was retired from West Point Pepperell Mill. Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by siblings, Bill Rushing, Mary Frances Parker, Wilbur Rushing, Joe Rushing and Eria Mae Wells.

Survivors include her loving husband James W. Bryan of Columbus, children, Barbara Strickland (Larry), James “Bimbo” Tidwell (Zsuzsa), Linda Smith (Dennis), Gwen Tidwell and Sandra Walsh (Patrick), 10 grandchildren, Candice Ellis (Michael), Jimmy Ray “Buddy” Welch (Britney), Janet Williams, Timothy Welch (Heidi), Bradley Smith (Brandi), Shanna Smith (Ryan), James Kyle Tidwell (Lindsey), Keith Tidwell (Sarah), Kaitlyn Tidwell and Christie Medley, 19 great grandchildren and siblings Ruth Smith, Jeanette Monk and Harmon Rushing.
