Ever Nell "Legs" Carter Joiner

Ever Nell “Legs” Joiner, 76, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 under the watchful care of Columbus Hospice. She was born January 28, 1939 in Columbus to her late parents Bill and Elsie Carter. “Legs” lived in Columbus all her life and attended Edgewood Baptist Church. She loved to cook, and was the care giver for many children. She loved family gatherings and being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Please join the family in a Celebration of “Legs’” Life, Wednesday October 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, followed by a Committal Service at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Tim Joiner, Jr officiating. After the Committal Service there will be a visitation/reception in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Joiner is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Joiner; one sister and four brothers. She is survived by two sons, Derek (Molly) Joiner of Athens, GA, and Tim Joiner, Sr. of Columbus; one daughter, Starr (Wendell) Bricker of Columbus; one brother, Harper Carter of MO; three sisters, Edna Kincannon of FL, LaRae Brantley of FL, and Darlene Jones of Hamilton, GA; six grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer)Joiner, Jr. of Phenix City, AL, Misty Joiner of Phenix City, AL, Ashley (Billy) Allen of Columbus, Kendall Joiner of Columbus, Scott (Katie) Greer of Conyers, GA, and Joshua Bricker of Columbus; nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
