

Faye Kennedy, age 79, resident of Waverly Hall, Georgia, died on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled at Joquin Baptist Church Cemetery, Luverne, Alabama on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 2 p.m. (CST) with Rob Kaple officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby, Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. Kennedy, daughter of the late Otto Osmond Hall and Lovey Cordelia Davis Hall, was born March 22, 1936 in Crenshaw County, Alabama. She was a homemaker, avid ballroom dancer, quilter, gardener, and bird watcher.
Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Kennedy and a son, Anthony Wayne Kennedy. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Faye Harrison and her husband Kenneth of Waverly Hall, Georgia and Janet Kay Haskell and her fiancé J.B. Barrett, also of Waverly Hall, Georgia; two sisters, Loene Dean and Betty Boyle, both of Prattville, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Justin Kennedy and his wife Andrea, Kirby Kaple and her husband Rob, Shannon “Nikki” Kennedy, Kevin Harrison and his wife Ashley, Kyle Harrison and his wife Samanatha, Keenon Harrison, Porter Haskell and his wife Stephanie, Kelly Sheppard, and Avery Haskell; ten great-grandchildren, Jackson, Willow, Abigail, Kaiden, Kallie, Koltin, Holden, Alexander, Cordelia, and Allie; very special and beloved friend, Donald Hammond; many other relatives and friends.
She was the matriarch of the family whose wisdom will truly be missed.
