My beautiful Mom from start of her life to the very end. Mom showed her Love in so many ways even though she did not know I was her daughter  she always told me she knew my eyes smile & I was someone that took care of her & was very good to her. Mom still would tell me that she loved me so very much. Mom brought so much joy & love in my life to the very end. I know for sure the white pearly gates opened wide as she took her last breath of life. I was so blessed to have her Love Hugs Smiles & Great times to the very end. I'm so proud of my sister Catherine Dawson for all the love & special care that she devoted to our Special Mom. We had awesome times to cherish. Thank you my wonderful Sister for taking such great care that allowed us to have our Angel Mom as long as we did. I Love & Miss our Mom with all my heart. Mom knew it was time to go  to her home in heaven so now she will always be my special Angel alone with my Loving Father. They truly Loved each other. Special Love is so rare in this world!!!  I thank God for my Loving Parents for teaching me Real Love ?

Sorry, my name didn't show up.  I signed the book in March 2013.  I loved Flora.  She taught me to make her famous Carrot Cake and I get lots of compliments.

I just found out about the loss of Ms. Flora. She hired me when I went to work at Fort Benning and was my supervisor for a few years.  However, even after I went on to other jobs...she remained my friend.  I can remember her entering my hospital room in 1981 and saying "I saw your baby before you did".  She was such a blessing and has always been so dear to me.  I know all of you are hurting now that she is no longer with you.  Just know that she touched so many of us and always stayed in our hearts. Love and prayers.

I just found out about this yesterday and I was very saddened that this family and friends will miss her sorely.  I know she in the arms of Sweet Jesus and in the presence of her dear sweet "Johnny".  She was such a good friend during the time I knew her at Fort Benning.  She always told stories about her children and grandchildren.  She loved you all so.  She taught me to make Carrot Cake and I always credit her for her recipe.  It has become "legendary" for my family and friends.  She was always so generous and she gave me annual leave when my daughter was injured and so sick.  She will always be my "work Mama".  She knew my Mama which I lost three years ago along with my Daddy and my Mama always thought so much of her.  God Bless all of the Wilbourn family.

MY MOM WAS THE SWEETEST MOST LOVING PERSON ANYONE COULD MEET....SHE NEVER MET A STRANGER WITHOUT SMILING AND WANTING TO HUG THEM....SHE WAS AN AMAZING MOTHER, WIFE, GRANDMOTHER AND FRIEND TO MAY PEOPLE....I WILL NEVER FORGET HER DOING MY NEWSPAPER PAPER ROUTE WHEN I WAS IN THE 8TH GRADE, SO THAT I COULD ATTEND AFTER SCHOOL BASKETBALL PRACTICE....MENTALLY, I LOST HER SEVERAL YEARS AGO, BUT I COULD ALWAYS FEEL THAT SHE HAD A CONNECTION WITH ME WHEN I COULD SPEND TIME WITH HER, SOMETHING IN HER TOUCH TOLD ME THAT SHE FELT SOMETHING....I AM GLAD THAT SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO SUFFER ANYMORE AND I HOPE SHE IS WITH MY FATHER, THE LOVE OF HER LIFE...JOHNNY...REST IN PEACE MOM, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY....YOUR SON WARNER

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Miss Flora.  We worked together at Ft Benning for several years and I loved her dearly. She was a beautiful person inside & out. I will always remember her stories of Sunday lunch after church at Dee's - she loved her family very much. She is with her Johnny now. My prayers are with you all.God bless you.

Dee, you impacted my life in so many ways but especially spiritual. I'll never forget the night you proved to me that there is power in the name of Jesus. I love you.

Flora was a one of a kind!  We worked together at Fort Benning for a long time.  She could make the best Carrot Cake and she tried hard to teach me how!  My thoughts and prayers are with all of Flora's family, this world lost a real jewel.

Dee,you touched so many ill always remember how you touched my life I'm so thankful you were in my life  Love You always.

I would just like to express my deepest sympathies to All of the Wilbourn family! May you all find Peace in your hearts. I am the girlfriend to her Grandson Shane Wilbourn and only had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Wilbourn once. As i  watched this sweet lady talking to her son Mike as he explained who he was and was so touched by the kindness he showed in introducing us all even himself. When he told her who i was she reached over with the sweetest smile and ran her tiny hand thru my hair she said you are beautiful and you have pretty hair. What an awesome thing for someone to say!! I have so much respect and love for this family and will always have that memory of her and when i think of it i ALWAYS SMILE!! MAY YOU REST WITH ANGELS AS YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND!
