Frank Riley Harp Jr.

A private family viewing and cremation was performed at Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home in Columbus.

Memorial services for Mr. Harp will be held at 3:00 pm, on Friday, March 20, 2015 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends following the service.

He was born in Meansville, GA to Frank Harp, Sr. and Vergie Harp. He was a long-time resident of Columbus, having spent time in the Army in Germany upon graduation from Columbus high school. He attended and graduated from Columbus State University. He worked previously as a Vice President at Trust Company of Columbus which later became SunTrust Bank and in later years as a car salesmen at Carl Gregory Honda.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helga Harp; daughter, Christine (Brian) Anderson; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and brothers Clarence and James Harp.
