

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, GA. Burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery with U.S. Navy Honors. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Paul was born in Phenix City, AL, on August 11, 1949 to the late Frank Paul Taylor, Sr. and Kathaleen Baxley Taylor. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was an active member of Seale Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and served in the Food Ministry. Paul was very outgoing and was a Master Gardener, he enjoyed providing fresh produce for the Food Ministry. He was studying the Hebrew language and was involved in Aquaponics. Paul enjoyed his Christian Clown Ministry and was very fond of Trains. He was very influential in the New Beginnings Adoption Agency and Sound Choices Pregnancy Center. Paul retired from the U.S. Navy with 30 years of service.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Deborah W. Taylor of Seale, AL, children, David Paul Taylor of Smith Station, AL, Carrie Ann Pizarro and husband Nestor of Columbus, GA, Dana Michelle McCraine of Smith Station, AL, and Joshua Nathaniel Taylor of Phenix City, AL. brother, Wayne Taylor of Dade City, FL, 11 grandchildren: Glenn Morgan, Drew Dedula, Zachary DuBois, Kyle Dubois, Jared DuBois, Hunter Taylor, Sarahgrace DuBois, Avery Taylor, Perrin Taylor, Gabriel Taylor and Delilah Taylor, two great grandchildren: Viktor DuBois and Andrew Dedula, and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
