Guy Lunsford Bone

Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, August 28, 2023 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Andy Johnson officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at the funeral home.

Mr. Bone was born on January 15, 1928 in Weston, GA to the late Joseph A. bone and Barbara Greer Bone. He was a lifelong area resident and was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mr. Bone was a U.S. Army Veteran and a faithful member of Edgewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bone and a sister, Betty Bone Fulone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Lucy H. Bone of Columbus, a daughter, Allison JB Earle (John C.) of Carrollton, GA. six grandchildren, Morgan Earle, Alexandria Earle, Hamilton Earle (Madison), Abigail E. Hinsdale (Bobby), Elliott Earle and Moira Earle, three great grandchildren, Finnian Earle Hinsdale, Benjamin Earle and Theodore Earle.
