Henry E. Hutcheson III

Midland, GA- Henry E. Hutcheson, III, 55 of Midland, Georgia died on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.

Graveside service will be Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the St. Elmo room at Striffler-Hamby, Columbus.

Henry E. Hutcheson, III was born on May 9, 1958 to the late Henry E. Hutcheson, Jr. and Frances Yvonne Hutcheson in Stuttgart, Germany. He was a graduate of Pacelli High School, Emory University and served in the Army National Guard. Henry was the owner of Towne Fitness Club in LaGrange, Georgia. He owned and operated several small businesses before Towne Fitness. Henry enjoyed reading, history, and he was very knowledgable on a variety of subjects and never stopped learning. He also loved the outdoors, watching classic movies, a variety of sports and tree farming. After a day at work in LaGrange he loved going to Callaway Gardens and the Pine Mountain region to walk and enjoy the natural beauty, something he took pride in, especially with his yard at home. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Hutcheson; daughters, Hannah and Haley Hutcheson; son, Henry E. Hutcheson, IV; sister, Vicki Bardis; brothers, Robert (Celeste) Hutcheson and William "Bill" Hutcheson; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
