Jacqueline Haines Kinney

In loving memory of our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend. Jackie as she was known to most passed away on November 21, 2011 at 6:00pm. She had so many achievements and accomplishments in life that will be remembered forever. To name a few, Master Degree in Education, graduated Phi Beta Kappa, first chair Violinist at Jordan High School and Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Teacher of the year twice at Daniel Jr. High School, where she spent most of her career. In dedicating her life to raising her three sons and serving on many boards and committees for which her sons participated. She gave all her strength and determination to improve our community and quality of life. She thoroughly enjoyed attending Wynnbrook Baptist Church, for fellowship and the word of God.

She is survived by her sons; Daniel T. Kinney, Thomas D. Kinney and Steven W. Kinney and his wife Tara Bryant Kinney all of Columbus, six grandchildren, Brad Kinney and his wife Cathryn Kinney, Ted Kinney, Lauren Kinney Roop and her husband Stephen Roop, Bevin Kinney, Lindsey Kinney, and Sarah Kinney, brothers and sisters, Diane and Ken Newberry, Janice and TH Tucker, Rodney Haines, Gail and Phil Turpin, Kenny and Evelyn Haines Gwen Haines.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Friday, November 25, 2011 at the funeral home

Funeral services for Mrs. Kinney will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2011 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus with Reverend Kevin Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
