James David Bryan, 58, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11AM followed by a funeral service starting at 12PM.
David was born in Columbus, Georgia on December 02, 1963 to the late James Larry Bryan and Sandra Faye Gilder Bryan. He graduated from Columbus High School and worked as a rewind technician, rewinding electrical motors. David had a passion for fishing, drag racing, being with friends and watching television. He enjoyed shows such as; Moonshiners, Gunsmoke, and Street Outlaws. David is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Sandra Faye Bryan; paternal grandparents, Elbert and Lola Bryan; and maternal grandmother, Willie Mae Gilder.
Those left to cherish his memories are two sons, Jamie Bryan (Amanda Fretwell) and Jarrett Bryan (Jasmine Malaby); one granddaughter Carolina Rose Bryan “Peanut”; siblings, Carrie Rutherford (Peter), Richard Bryan, and Kellie Bryan; stepmother, Crystal Bryan; his friend and mother of his children, Kim Swann; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
