He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Sandy, just 6 months ago. He is survived by his two sons, Chris (Kara) and Jason (Dan), grandchildren Kristin (Ryan) Adams, Konner and Koleton, 2 great-grandchildren, Ashton and Brady, special family friend, Tiffany Patten, and a beloved spoiled-rotten Chihuahua, Zoey.
Snookie was born September 20, 1950, in Banks, AL, son of the late James Henry and Annie Ruth Little Price, one of 13 children. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and went on to work for many years as a superintendent in the construction industry. He was also a member of the Price Brothers Band and performed for many years at the VFW on Lee Road 240. When he wasn’t at the VFW, he could be found surrounded by numerous friends singing ‘real’ country music on their back porch.
He is also survived by his siblings, Patsy Dobbs, Betty Carden, Jim (Jan) Price, Bill (Jennifer) Price and Linda Blaylock.
Preceding him in death were siblings Alice Price, Jess McPherson, Joe Price, Mary Anne Blair, Sarah Idland, Dennis Price, and Robert Price.
A memorial service will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at 2:30PM Friday, January 28, 2022 under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Funeral Home. Special thanks to Columbus Hospice for their immediate assistance and care during this time.
