A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 3:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 with a visitation one hour prior. The burial will follow funeral services at Parkhill Cemetery.
Jimmy was born on May 9, 1935 in Fairfax, Virginia. He always provided for his family by being a hard worker and was always someone you could count on. He never hesitated to help anyone in need. His faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ, carried him through after the passing of his wife, Robbie. Jimmy loved serving the Lord and telling others about his Jesus. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Robbie L. Williams. He is survived by his children, Diane Smoak (Jolan), Marie Massie (Hal), Beverly Cothren (Steve); four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
