Janella Gaddy Cordell

She was born on December 8, 1954 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late James M. Gaddy and Annie Lou Jacobs Gaddy. Janella has lived in the Columbus area most of her life, she was a LPN with St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. Janella will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved her.

Janella leaves her legacy to her loving husband, Daris Cordell; sons, Chris Ellerbee and Tim Ellerbee; stepsons, David Cordell and Brandon Cordell; grandchildren: Christopher Ellerbee, Whittney Woodall, Carey Pippin, Jessica Hendrix, Taylor Hendrix, Joey Ellerbee, Angela Ellerbee, and Rebecca Ellerbee; great grandchildren: JP Pippin, Landyn Nisson, Kyleigh Woodall, Conner Pippin, Christopher Ellerbee, Trace Woodall, Bralen Graves and coming soon Samantha Woodall; sister, Lavonda Scruggs and her significant other Benny Culpepper; niece, Valerie Scruggs-Proffitt and her husband, Jonathan; special cousins, Phil Hyatt and his wife, Dorothy and Wynn Hyatt and his wife, Charity; great niece, Arlanna Proffitt.

Family will visit with friends on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Striffler-Hamby’s Edgewood Hall from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with a service to celebrate her life beginning at 3:00 PM. Please visit www.shcolumbus.com to sign the online register.
