Janet Carole Fincher passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 88. She was survived by her four children. David Morgan (Bonnie), Becky Morgan (John), Ricky Morgan and Dena Gilliam (Tom). Also, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Janet was born and raised in Wheatridge, Colorado and never lost her love for the beautiful Rockies. She had lived in Columbus, Georgia for more than sixty years. Janet worked as an administrative assistant when Peachtree Mall opened in 1975. Years later she served as the executive officer of the Columbus Board of Realtors.
Janet loved reading, decorating, and collecting antiques. She also had a special place in her heart for all her dogs throughout her life. Janet never turned down an offer to go out to eat, she was the original foodie.
She will be missed, but we all know she has joined the love of her life, her late husband Bobby Fincher, for all eternity.
