Jeanette Culpepper

Due to the public health crisis a private funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery. A public celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Jeanette Culpepper was born July 14, 1927 in Henry County, AL the daughter of the late Leroy and Gladys Hand. She was an officer manager for R.P. Culpepper Contracting Company for many years and a member of ABWA Harris County chapter and received woman of the year in 1992. She was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church and Senior Joy Ministries. She enjoyed traveling, loved her family and spending time with them. She lived at the Gardens at Calvary for five years and enjoyed her time there and have many great friends.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Culpepper; sister, Virginia McCoy; granddaughter, Kimberly Woodrum; and great grandson, Andrew R. Culpepper.

Survivors include her sons, Harold Culpepper (Teena) of Hamilton, GA, Wayne Culpepper (Alda) of Columbus, GA, Joe Culpepper (Vicki) of Cataula, GA, Roger Culpepper (Diane) of Fortson, GA; daughters, Wanda Boutwell (Ray) of Kenai, AK and Debra Woodrum (Gerald) of Columbus, GA; 22 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 5 great greatgrandchildren; a Brother, Earl Hand (Linda) of Dothan, AL; sisters, Nina Trammel, Dothan, AL, and Becky King of Copperas Cove, TX.
