Judith "Judy" Ann Parker

Judith Ann Parker, 69, of Fortson, Georgia, passed away of August 16, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017, at 4:00 pm at Striffler – Hamby Mortuary in Columbus, Georgia. A visitation will be held on Saturday August 19, 2017 at Striffler – Hamby Mortuary, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and again one hour prior to services on Sunday. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 am.

Judy was born on February 12, 1948, to her Father, Maryland Lewis Williamson and her Mother Etta Ballew Williamson. She was born and raised in Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia. Judy worked at Sun-Ray Cleaners for over 10 years, where she was dedicated to her customers, who became her friends. Judy was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and two daughters, Deborah Ann Schnoor and Dorothy Ann Meehan. Survivors include: Her husband of 37 years, William J. A. “Bucky” Parker; her children, Debra Ann Nobley, Lewis Nobley, Denise Ann Carter, Darlene Ann Crawford, Dana Ann Bullard; Two sisters, Elaine G. McCathern, Mattie J. Rigsby; one brother, Eddie L. Williamson; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
