J.R. was born in Panama on June 11, 1983 to Jewell Cooper and Ivory Cooper Sr. Julius is survived by his parents; his grandmother Mattie Sanders; his sisters Susan Lewis - Harrison and Zipporah Horton - Oppong; his brothers Michael Lewis and Ivory Cooper Jr; his brother in-law Samuel Oppong; as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
J.R. obtained his Class A CDL in 2015 from Georgia Driving Academy and was the owner of his own trucking company named JRC Industries. He was an avid Fan of Alabama Crimson Tide College football team and enjoyed spending his free time with his family and his beloved Pitt Bull, London. He ensured that the time he has spent on earth was spent enjoying life to the fullest. He loved to eat out a restaurants and have fun. He was known to be the life of the party and enjoyed cracking jokes, laughing, smiling and going live on Facebook. He could be counted on to call his family members regularly to check on them and update them on his whereabouts on the road. He always made an conscious efforts to get his family members together when he came in town from off the road.
J.R. may be physically absent from his loved ones and friends but he will never be forgotten and lives on in the memories of everyone that was blessed to meet him.
