

Kenneth Michael Olive
Mr. Hollywood, 69, of Columbus, Georgia died at St. Francis Hospital on Friday, February 23rd, 2018.
A celebration of his life will be held Monday, March 5th from 5:30-8:00 P.M. in the Mill Room at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Macon Road. All family, friends, and acquaintances are welcomed.
Hollywood was born October 7, 1948 at Martin Army Hospital on Ft. Benning, son of the late Wilson R. Olive and Thelma Price Olive, and brother of the late Danny Olive. He attended school in Columbus, Georgia and Salzburg, Austria. When returning from Salzburg, he attended Baker High School, class of 1968. He traveled with the fair as a carny, and then became a bouncer at Ewan Nights and Jacopa Club in the “sin city” days of Phenix City. He then went to work for Char-Broil, a division of W.C. Bradley, for many years until retirement. After retirement, he went to work for J-Co Service Company for many years, until finally retiring to work on his passion of art projects.
Survivors include his son, Michael MacShane Olive of Columbus, Georgia; daughter, Tabatha Abra Olive of Columbus, Georgia; nephew, Patrick Olive of Columbus, Georgia; granddaughters, Libby and April Olive.
Hollywood enjoyed life, and everything that life had to offer. He was a man amongst men.
He will be forever loved and missed, and thought about every single day.
