

Ken dedicated 27 years of his career to Hallmark Cards. After taking early retirement, he spent many years working for Eckerd Drugs/CVS Pharmacy.
Ken was a proud alumnus of The University of Georgia, his alma mater. He was profoundly proud of having earned his Bachelor of Arts. He was often found cheering on his beloved “Dawgs” every season. After leaving UGA, he achieved his Bachelors of International Management from Thunderbird Graduate School. A gentle soul at heart, he was known for his love of jokes, playing word games, and volunteering at the Temple Beth Orr Food Pantry.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Melinda; daughter, Rachel (Omar); granddaughters Kaylee and Kristi; sister-in-law Sandra; niece, Sarah Elizabeth (Kevin); great nephew James and great niece Rachel. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Jay; in-laws J.C. and Betsy, and brother in-law, Larry.
Ken will be remembered for his warm spirit, his enduring sense of humor, and his generous contributions to his community. His legacy of kindness and dedication to his loved ones and community will not be forgotten.
Graveside Services will be in Riverdale Cemetery, 1000 Victory Dr., Columbus, GA 31901 on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00am.
