Kenneth J.R. Stricklin, 88, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on October 6, 2023 surrounded by his wife, Debe, and son, Slade. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Union Springs, Alabama.
Ken's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and his work. He was the backbone of Duct Doctor USA, which he founded and worked alongside his son. His professional life was more than just a job; it was a testament to his determination to create a better life for his family. Ken cherished spontaneous day trips, golf, watching football, listening to country music, working in the yard, and pampering his Wheaten Terriers. A natural conversationalist, he never hesitated to strike up a chat, turning strangers into lifelong friends.
He leaves behind his adored wife, Deborah Kaye (Smith) Stricklin, his pride and joy, son Kenneth Ryan Slade Stricklin, and a dear sister, Jane Nell Bissett. Ken is welcomed into the afterlife by his mother, Nelia Elizabeth Bailey, two brothers, Eual Morrell Little and Robert Little, and a sister, Brenda Little.
A Graveside Funeral Service to honor Kenneth's legacy will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Parkhill Cemetery. For those wishing to pay their respects, a visitation will commence from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, 31907.
